Christmas Break Reflections

My top 10 Observations of the past week:

1. Going to church on Christmas Eve is my favorite tradition.
2. Listening to Christmas carols warms my heart.
3. When you don't want anything for Christmas, everything you get is wonderful.
4. I wish Christmas decorations would walk themselves into the attic while I was gone on Christmas day.
5. The after Christmas sales are so much fun with my sister, even if I don't buy anything.
6. Being sick on my week off is less than desirable.
7. Getting my husband sick so we can't go out for New Year's Eve is the worst. I feel bad, I'm bored and I'm lonely.
8. Seeing my nieces for the first time since July was pure joy! I thought they would forget me, but they didn't. They remembered me. :)
9. Thinking that I would get any shred of work done this week, even check my emails is a complete joke. I should know myself better than that.
10. I think this was the best Christmas I've had since I lived at home (meaning with my parents).

I can't believe Christmas is over but I'm sure I will blink my eyes and it will be Christmas 2011. That's just the way it goes. I hope you all had a very, Merry Christmas.
