So, I love vintage dresses.
ModCloth, which I have mentioned before, has a bevy of gorgeous ones on their site right now. I had to share my most fav. Under each photo, I've added the era I think the dress was inspired from and what occasion I would wear the dress to.

Circa: 1947 Occasion: Brunch.

Circa: 1974. Occasion: School Play.

Circa: 1932. Occasion: Farmer's Market.

Circa: 1941. Occasion: Cocktails.

Circa: 1954. Occasion: Lunch Date.

Circa: 1966. Occasion: Church (with a cardi over bc good girls don't wear spaghetti straps to church). P.S. To my sis-in-law Rach, when I saw this, I thought of you.

Circa: 1959. Occasion: Baby/Wedding Shower.

Just now getting around to commenting on this one - I could stare at those dresses all day long - have no idea where you find all of your lovely eye candy for inspiration but it makes me want to take you with me to go shopping - you have such a good eye for pretty and unique and classy and sexy all rolled into one. Love the post - want a few of those dresses (and the occasions to wear them to with a "Prince Charming"!) Glad you got to play in the snow!
